Windows Vistaでdial-up接続をすると、Deault Gatewayのアドレスが0.0.0.0になる

ちょっと前に、id:arionaさんのコメントで、e-mobileとVMWareを同時使用すると固まる問題が解消できた。id:arionaさん、ありがとうございました。コメントにしばらく気づかなかった・・・。ごめんなさい。

が、e-mobileで接続していると、ゲストOSからのNAT接続でインターネットに接続できない。うーん何でだろうとちょっと調べたら、どうやらDNSサーバーを発見できていないらしい。なんでやねんということで、ホストのVista側のコマンドプロンプトでipconfigを実行してみると、

PPP アダプタ emb.ne.jp:

接続固有の DNS サフィックス . . . :
IPv4 アドレス . . . . . . . . . . : 6x.2xx.2xx.1xx
サブネット マスク . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.255
デフォルト ゲートウェイ . . . . . : 0.0.0.0

となっている。なんでデフォルトゲートウェイが0.0.0.0なんじゃーというとで検索してみた。

You successfully establish a dial-up connection in Windows Vista to another computer or to the Internet. However, the IP address of the default gateway for the connection is 0.0.0.0. For example, when you run the ipconfig command at the command prompt, the default gateway appears as 0.0.0.0.

By design, Windows Vista works in this manner. This behavior does not affect the functionality of the dial-up connection.

ちょ。仕様ですというやつですか。

他のところもいろいろ調べたが、どうやら今のところは解決策は無いらしい。調べた範囲では、VPNの接続で困っている人が少し居るようだった。ゲストの resolv.conf でe-mobile側のDNSサーバーのアドレスを直指定すればいいのだろうが、調べても当面わからず。

これは、ホストのVistaでDNSサーバーを動かすしかないのかなあ・・・。
（と書くと、誰かえらい人が助けてくれるはず）
